From the moment you check in, Ken and Alison will do their utmost to make your stay a relaxing and peaceful experience. We have also been caravanning and motorhoming for the past 35 years so plenty of experience under our belts ;-) and any help or assistance no matter how great or small you may need please just ask our mission is to make your stay as enjoyable as we possibly can.
We have an informations shed with a well stocked library of books to borrow / exchange for which donations towards the GNAAS (Air Ambulance) is greatly appreciated.
We have also recently added a toilet shed for which we have not increased our nightly rate and again would appreciate a small donation to the GNAAS if you feel that this has been of added benefit to your stay.

BIRDWATCHERS PARADISE

Over 120 different species noted within half a mile
Look out for tree sparrow Goldcrest and yellow hammer. Other birds to see are stonechat, linnet, sedge and grasshopper warblers in the summer.
On the ponds you will find good numbers of wildfowl including tufted duck, mallard, teal, wigeon, pochard, goldeneye. There are resident greylags and canada goose and winter vistors of pinkfoot are regulars and Greenland whitefronts have been recorded.
Raptors include kestrel, sparrowhawk, buzzard, barn owl, short eared owl, tawny owl and hen harrier.
